Internship Completion Certificate Requirements

This training module ensures that all interns clearly understand the official requirements for successfully completing the Heart Spark Cohort Internship Program and becoming eligible for a Completion Certificate or other recognitions. Learning Objectives By the end of this module, interns will be able to: - Identify each core requirement necessary to earn a Completion Certificate. - Understand how weekly engagement, learning module completion, and documentation are tracked. - Distinguish between a Completion Certificate and a Certificate of Participation. - Prepare proactively for final submission of capstone or project deliverables. - Take ownership of self-monitoring their progress throughout the internship timeline. Module Content * Overview Video – Welcome message from Dr. Sherry-Ann Brown introducing the importance of finishing strong. * Checklist Walkthrough – A visual review of each item on the Internship Completion Checklist, including Start Strong, HIPAA, weekly metrics, and final project components. * Engagement Metrics Deep Dive – Explanation of how attendance and participation are logged weekly and what interns are responsible for ensuring. * Capstone & Final Project Guide – Instructions for submitting an approved final project and links to the upcoming form. * Quizzes and Modules Tracking – Guidance on passing assigned curriculum quizzes and how to access newly added modules. * Award Recognition Pathways – Overview of optional peer-reviewed awards available for eligible interns who meet all requirements. * Self-Reflection and Planning Activity – Interactive exercise prompting interns to assess where they are in the process and make a plan for completion. * Live Office Hours & Support Resources – Instructions for where to go for help, including the pinned post links and who to reach out to.
